A child sits beside a sun-scorched tree and asks "Please give some food to me. I'm hungry, I'm tired, I'm so alone, I'm very afraid, and far from my home."
A child sits beside a Christmas tree and says "Well, there wasn't much for me - just cars and games and other stuff, it seems such a lot but it isn't enough! Why couldn't there have been more things for me underneath the Christmas tree?"
A child sits beside a sun-scorched tree and says "Thank you for feeding me. I've had some water and a morsel of bread and against this tree I can rest my head. I've survived the day, what more can I say. Thank you Lord for Christmas day."
