HOPE 09 Project
Oasis is a small church but one which has a big heart for our local community. For the past two summers we have worked with Holland Road Baptist church on a project at Hangelton Community Centre.
Last year we decorated the main hall and downstairs corridors and reception. This year we deocorated Tiny Tims, the children's toilets, the kitchen and the stairwell, refurbishing the wall art as well. In addition, both years we tidied the community centre's garden and this year, we did some clearing in the wildlife garden, next door to the centre.

Basics Bank
In May 2009 we opened a food bank for local people needing help in a short term crisis. This is in partnership with Brighton & Hove City Mission. People can receive help for several weeks at no cost to them. In order to get help, individuals must first be referred by an organisation linked to this scheme.
